Photovoltaics is derived from the Greek word "photos" for light and the name of the unit "volt." Solar modules are used to convert solar energy into electricity. Solar energy is inexhaustible and, therefore, one of the most essential renewable energy sources.
There is no general answer to this question. Because every roof and every open space has different requirements, it also depends on the nominal output of the system, which is measured in kilowatts peak (kWp). Important to know: Larger and more powerful PV systems are more economical than smaller ones.
Due to the high energy costs, photovoltaics is still worthwhile. Firstly, you save a lot of money on your electricity bill and secondly, you become independent of the electricity grid.
